this is really nice. i love the colors you chose, and i like the tone on tone reds in the hood. and i like what you did with the hair, it looks full, and the little bits of grey and white and the whisp by her face at the top are nice touches. and shes got a pretty face too. nice work, so much vector work lacks attention to little details and i think this one has some nice depth and detail to it. good job

Just looking at this pic, in my own style i would have colored her lips red too. Nice feeling, i beleive you did get a gloomy feel, the white face and grey lips really supported this.

What style are you going for? I mean Vector art reminds me of comic art.
I seams you relyed in sioutte of the figure to suporte her face.

I really liked the hair, thick and thin strands. very symple and very cool looking. I like the greys on the tope of the hair. Id say if you want a challange, try to make the rest of the figure have as many greys on the type of the head.

Im going to be coloring a comic book in the near future useing Illustrator. I say its way easer to mannage your shapes in that program, if you havent used it yet.
If any changes besides adding more values. May be add black to your text some how, just because your figure has red black and white. I feelit makes the link between the text and pic if you have the same colores. It looks nice as is, just something to try, and comand z it if it looks uggly.
im most definitly going to look at the other art you have on deviant art after i finish writeing this.

A nice use of typography, for once in the one billion bad poor uses I've seen on DA. Simple, yet effective. What font is that? And, nice background colour in contrast to the subject. And of course, the subject is wonderful. No complaints at all.

I think you achieved the 'sad' tone that you were striving for. The only change/modification that I would make to this is perhaps some more [and/or darker] shadows on the red hood. But otherwise, really great stuff!

great work- I really like the simplicity of the shading. I like the softness of the hoodie shadows, however they could be darker. Also a highlight on the top would probably add depth and continue the highlight on the hair. And perhaps a longer eyebrow, it could extend further. However great style- a clean look is always refreshing.
